On December 14, 2019, approximately 160 individuals gathered to celebrate and participate in our popular, annual Holiday Party. We welcomed many new faces and had a record attendance from our partners, the Indianapolis Fire Department. Our volunteers worked tirelessly to put on one of the best holiday parties to date, highlighting many different activities including: a visit with Santa, candy table, photo booth, a full brunch , cookie decorating, magician’s performance, balloon artists, game room, door prizes and the famous Holiday Store.
Thanks to our donors, we are able to host this special event each year. Nearly all of our families look forward to the event and some have been attending for many years. The event is a time for our families to connect with one another, catch up, and celebrate the holidays. We are especially thankful to the Indianapolis Fire Department’s overwhelming generosity in purchasing and wrapping gifts for each attendee diagnosed with muscular dystrophy or neuromuscular disease.
