- Easterseals Crossroads – INDATA Project: They have been providing assistive technology solutions in Indiana since 1979. In 2007, they partnered with the State of Indiana, Bureau of Rehabilitative Services to establish the Indiana Assistive Technology Act (INDATA) Project. The project’s core services include information and referral, funding assistance, public awareness and education, device demos, device loan, reutilized computers, and equipment reutilization. - IHCDA – Ramp Up Indiana: provides grants to not-for-profit organizations or local units of government for the installation of exterior ramps to homes occupied by people who need to improve the accessibility of their homes. - National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association: If you are outside of Indiana, you can check the in your area and state to learn of programs and assistance in your specific area

- Best Day Ever Foundation is an Indiana-based organization that hosts a monthly education and social program – “Living Our BEST Lives With Duchenne”. They help families live their lives to the fullest! To learn more about their events and to register, visit their website.
- The Jett Foundation offers assistance for families with Duchenne. Their programs include: Family Workshops and Community Webinar Series, Jett Giving Fund, Porch Nite, Camp Promise, Accessible Vehicle Fund – Jett Foundation
- PJ’s Protocol, a resource for families to save and share with medical professionals. You can view their community webinars here.
- Bridge to Mobility is a national non-profit providing last-dollar funding assistance for wheelchair accessible vehicles. If you are in need of additional dollars to help bridge the gap in order to bring your accessible vehicle home, ask your NMEDA dealer to apply for Bridge to Mobility funding.
Awareness Days and Fundraising Events
- Go! For Duchenne: is Jett Foundation’s premiere athletic and endurance team fundraising program. Through Go! for Duchenne, you can roll, walk, run, ride, swim, golf, and more for Duchenne at athletic events like triathlons, road races, and bike rides while supporting Jett Foundation.
- Rare Disease Day: Rare Disease Day is an observance held on the last day of February to raise awareness for rare diseases and improve access to treatment and medical representation for individuals with rare diseases and their families. - World Duchenne Awareness Day (WDAD): In recognition of this annual worldwide day dedicated to Duchenne muscular dystrophy, we bring local patients and families, Duchenne experts, and industry partners together under one roof to celebrate advances made in Duchenne research, and to acknowledge the challenges still to come.

- Fighting Duchenne Facebook Page: This virtual community serves as a means for our Duchenne community–individuals, family members, friends, and supporters–to have a safe, welcoming space to engage in conversations, share experiences, develop meaningful connections, and learn about community programs that can help in a Duchenne journey.
- Jett’s Accessibility Consignment Store: Jett’s Accessibility Consignment Store was created to assist families that are looking to give away, sell or purchase medical equipment. Families are able to offer up and advertise items in good condition that their family no longer uses.
